Delaney received a young author's award on Saturday for her short story titled Just One Ride. It is about a young girl who discovers a wild horse on her trip to Disney World. Very cute and humorous.
She said to me "I have already had my story published, but I don't have a cell phone yet!" Poor baby, life is so unfair.

New Year's Resolution
My New Year Resolution: To update my blog more frequently to share all of the great things happening with my family.
Here is the first post. Day one of resolution met!
That being said, last week was a lot of fun. My sister was in town to celebrate Christmas and we had a great visit. My own kiddos are growing up too fast, but there is still a lot of silly with them. This is a picture of the craziness of New Year's Eave. Donovan and Delaney are wearing crazy hats.
