Fun and Creative on Cold Days

During the cold winter days, Delaney has been very creative with blocks. She has created tons of different structures and then video tapped the demise of them. Below are a few of her creations.

A Fun Filled Saturday

My sister and her family were in town to see Shrek the Musical with us. Dad purchased the tickets as a Christmas present for all of the grandkids and the parents. So, Saturday was the day of the musical...and it was phenomenal! We had a blast and I forgot to take my camera...so no pics!

After the musical, we went to Donovan's pinewood derby. Donovan's car ran 1st in each of the first 8 heats.










Then in the finals, he raced four times and place 1st twice and 3rd twice. This gave him a 3rd place finish out of 18 entries and a trophy!




Dillon also entered in the "outlaw" division for non-cub scouts. His car placed 5th overall. He graciously acknowledged that Donovan had created a better car...this year.
